A leading international banking group based in Dublin City Centre is seeking to appoint a junior compliance officer to join their professional and highly supportive team. Reporting to the compliance manager, this is a permanent opportunity with an attractive compensation package.
Key responsibilities of the junior compliance officer:
- Support senior compliance officers and assist in the preparation of the compliance reporting to head office
- Assist in the review of all regulatory contexts under direct control of compliance
- Daily monitoring of all payments for AML and correct application fees
- On-going maintenance of AML beneficial owner registers for all corporate current and deposit accounts
- Assist in the review of new AML regulatory requirements and the implementation of these into Bank policies and procedures
- Completion of audit request responses to relevant bodies
As the junior compliance officer you will have a relevant professional compliance qualification such as LCOI / ACOI / and/or 3rd level qualification related to compliance, legal, data protection, internal audit and or risk management. You will have a minimum of 1 year of compliance experience, including experience in AML and compliance monitoring (this level of experience is intended as guidance only and does not preclude someone with more or less experience from applying for the role). You will be responsible for assisting the compliance manager in updating and monitoring the compliance framework of the company and the preparation of associated reporting.
