An international insurance firm is seeking to add a compliance officer to their compliance function in Dublin City Centre.

Key responsibilities of the compliance officer:

• Lead and coach direct reports in relation to the day-to-day workload of the compliance function
• Provide guidance in relation to the product oversight and governance programmes
• Monitor proper implementation of compliance policies and procedures
• Work with business units and group legal department in assessing and advising on impacts arising from regulatory-watch across the markets
• Review staff training processes
• Carry out assessments in relation to AML compliance and to report to the board and sub-committees

As the compliance officer you will have considerable experience in a compliance function, preferably in insurance, with cross border experience. The ability to converse in French in both written and verbal form is a distinct advantage.
