Senior Fixed Income Trader

A global asset manager is looking to hire a senior trader to execute emerging market bonds transactions. You will obtain best execution in price and volume traded, and add value to the team by providing market intelligence, price discovery and liquidity search. In this leadership role, you will support the emerging markets trading team, ensuring trades are executed in line with policies and regulatory requirements.

As a Senior Fixed Income Trader you will:

• Obtain best execution on local bonds and fixed income
• Provide high quality execution service
• Monitor quality of execution, costs and potential enhancements
• Obtain and analyse market colours, updates, information and developments
• Produce information on price action analysis, market positioning, central banks interventions, market analysis for fund managers
• Maintain relationships with market counter-parties
• Develop and maintain risk control
• Support the head of trading as an additional mentor and guide to the team

As an ideal candidate for the senior fixed income trader role, you will have previous experience in an emerging markets trader role. You will have a strong knowledge of fixed income and ideally previous experience in an asset manager.
