Tax Advisor

We are seeking a VAT Analyst to support multi-jurisdictional VAT compliance and advisory within a growing organisation. This role works closely with internal teams and external advisors to ensure accurate filings, provide VAT guidance on projects, and support ongoing tax risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and submission of multi-jurisdictional VAT returns
• Reconcile VAT returns to general ledgers to ensure accuracy
• Provide VAT input and guidance to project teams
• Deliver ad-hoc VAT advice to support business decision-making
• Liaise with external advisors where required
• Support year-end VAT audit schedules and external audit queries
• Assist with tax risk management and broader tax team activities
• Contribute to process improvements and ad-hoc projects
• Assist in preparing and delivering internal VAT training

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a VAT-focused or VAT-exposed role
• Strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multi-jurisdictional requirements
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
