Tax Accountant

Our client, a global investment bank with growing operations in Ireland, is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse and dynamic team, providing support on tax-related topics across various departments. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, a wealth of experience in financial services, and ideally, knowledge of capital markets.

What you'll do:

As a Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the European Head of Tax and various departments on tax-related topics. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive tax advice, staying updated on changes in legislation, ensuring compliance, and developing effective tax strategies. Your ability to understand the needs of different departments and provide appropriate solutions will be key to your success.

• Provide comprehensive tax advice and guidance across various departments
• Support the European Head of Tax in all related matters
• Stay abreast of changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance across all operations
• Work closely with other departments to understand their needs and provide appropriate tax solutions
• Develop and implement effective tax strategies that align with business objectives
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of all corporate tax returns
