My client; a Global Aviation company are seeking a Senior Global Payroll Specialist to join their team in Dublin. With employees based in jurisdictions across the world and the management team based in Dublin this new joiner will support approx.100 employees globally.

About this opportunity:

As a Senior Global Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business strategy through international payroll investigation and implementation. You will be responsible for leading country set-ups, liaising with various stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with policies. Your role will also involve preparing and processing monthly payrolls, reviewing payroll reports, assisting with audit requirements, and driving continuous improvement in reporting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support business strategy in line with international payroll investigation and implementation
  • Provide analysis summary and forecasts to Management regularly
  • Lead and manage country set-ups in a project management mode
  • Liaise with various stakeholders including payroll suppliers, tax experts, authorities, etc.
  • Monitor alignment with policies and initiate corrective actions for continuous improvement
  • Prepare and process monthly payrolls and any changes for a specific scope of the organisation
  • Review and approve the monthly payroll reports
  • Assist with audit requirements and queries as requested
  • Ensure continuous development and improvement of monthly reporting

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Working knowledge of international payroll taxes
  • IPASS Management Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in international payroll processing
  • In-depth knowledge of global payroll regulations and compliance requirements for various jurisdictions
  • Project management skills
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
  • Strong IT skills and G-Suite proficiency
