Financial Accountant Assistant
A leading international financial services organisation is looking to hire a Financial Accountant Assistant to join its Balance Sheet Control team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build experience across a broad finance function within a structured and fast-paced environment.
You’ll be part of a finance team responsible for financial reporting, control, and regulatory requirements. The role offers strong exposure to balance sheet control, reconciliations, payments, and tax reporting across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll gain hands-on experience across month-end, reporting, and audit processes within a dynamic team.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with daily outgoing payments and finance operations
- Supporting fiscal and tax reporting across various jurisdictions
- Performing balance sheet, cash, and custodial reconciliations
- Assisting with month-end processes and journal entries
- Supporting quarterly and annual financial reporting
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and audit deliverables
- Monitoring and managing finance-related queries
- Building relationships with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently
About you
- Experience in an accounting or finance role (e.g. AP, GL, reconciliations)
- Strong Excel skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in financial services (desirable)
- Exposure to tax reporting or multiple jurisdictions (desirable)
- Experience with finance systems such as Oracle (desirable)
