Group Accountant

A very successful Irish business in the heart of Dublin City Centre have a newly created role for a Group Financial Accountant. This is a varied role suited to a practice trained Accountant 1-2 years PQE. This role offers fantastic opportunity to gain experience and progress to Finance Manager within two years so would suit someone ambitous. Salary for this role is €60,000 - €65,000, bonus, pension, free gym, parking and lunch provided. Based in Dublin City with parking.

Key responsibilities of the Group Accountant

• Responsible for AP team.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, analysis and balance sheet reconciliations
• Daily and weekly reporting with commentary
• Preparation of bank reconciliations and resolving queries in a timely manner.
• Assisting with budgeting & forecasting processes
• Prepare tax returns

Key requirements of the Group Accountant

• Accountancy qualification
• Big 4/Practice trained and 1-2 years PQE preferred
• Ambitious to progress within the group
• Excellent attention to detail and commercial acumen
• Strong analytical skills
• Problem solving and analytical ability
• Work on own initiative
• Good communication
