A leading Insurance company based in Dublin City Centre is seeking to hire an Internal Auditor.
Responsibilities of the Internal Auditor include:
Provide an objective assessment on control, risk management and governance processes
- Provide consulting services to assist management in meeting its objectives on governance, risk and control matters
- Advising, training, control self-assessment, risk identification, due diligence, fraud investigations, bench marking reviews
- Coordinate audit plans / activities with the external auditor to ensure that they can rely on the Internal Audit work as much as possible
As the Internal Auditor you will be a qualified accountant with ACA / ACCA with a minimum of 1 year PQE (this level of experience is intended as guidance only and does not preclude someone with more or less experience from applying for the role). You will also have experience ideally 'Big 4' trained with previous experience in audit / financial services. Strong understanding of Risk Management and Controls is advantageous.
