Group Financial Controller Midlands (Hybrid)

A rapdily growing company within healthcare with several entities would like to appoint a newly created Group Financial Controller to manage several entities and support the CFO. This is a newly created role in the Midlands with salary in the €75,000 - €80,000 range, bonus up to 20% plus benefits. They will offer hybrid working but two - three core days on one of it's sites in the midlands area.

Due to ongoing growth, an experienced Group Financial Controller is required to to join a healthcare company with several entities across Ireland and the UK. This is an exciting role for a smart, energetic and focused individual. The right candidate will support the Group CFO in delivering stakeholder goals, on time and accurate reporting and developing and executing key projects. As part of the central Finance Team you will also work closely with HR, Operations and Facility Management to provide strong analysis in order to assist in making key business decisions.

Key responsibilities of the Group Financial Controller

  • Preparing Management Accounts
  • Managing the Statutory Audit
  • Analysing financial data & providing insightful commentary
  • Financial Modelling including M&A scenarios
  • Setting-up and Monitoring internal controls
  • High involvement in the budgeting processes
  • Streamlining accounting functions and operations
  • Day to day Tax Compliance
  • Manage AP & AR

Key requirements of the Group Financial Controller

  • Accounting Qualification ACA, ACCA, CIMA with minimum 5 years PQE
  • Proven experience in delivering projects
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals
  • Compliance focused
  • Proficiency in accounting software
