An extremely successful organisation based in Cork is actively searching for a Financial Controller to join their team. Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for preparing monthly Financial Statements
- Preparation of the monthly financial reporting packages for presentation to senior management
- Cost Accounting and preparation of monthly standard costings
- Maintenance of fixed assets and leasing registers
- Preparation and Analysis of budget and forecasts
- Analytical Review of Income Statement and reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
- Preparation of quarterly cashflow forecasts
- Submission of Revenue Returns – VAT, Intrastat returns, CSO reporting.
- Development of process improvements and implementation of controls
- Management of intercompany accounts with group companies
- Cross functional liaison with the Production, Purchasing and Sales teams
- Ad-hoc duties for the Finance Department
Skills & Experience:
- SAP experience essential
- Experience in multinational reporting structure would be an advantage
- Strong analytical skills
- Self-motivated and prepared to be flexible when the situation demands
- Strong organisational, planning and time management skills
- Strong conceptual and analytical capabilities with ability to generate insights from a large amount of data.
- Recognised Accounting Qualification
