A leading international financial services organisation is looking to hire a Financial Administrator to join its Trade & Cash Management team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build experience in a busy finance environment with strong exposure to investment operations.

You’ll be part of a middle office team responsible for the day-to-day processing of trades and cash activity. The role focuses on ensuring trades are settled accurately and on time, while maintaining tight control over cash and asset positions. You’ll gain hands-on experience across the full trade lifecycle, fund administration, and reconciliation processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Accurately recording trading activity in internal systems
  • Managing the full lifecycle of trade settlements
  • Performing daily cash and trading account reconciliations
  • Monitoring and resolving outstanding trades
  • Preparing and processing daily payments and matching incoming cash
  • Investigating and resolving reconciliation breaks
  • Supporting fund administration activities, including NAV-related work
  • Handling internal and external queries in a timely manner
  • Meeting daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines

About you

You’ll have at least 2 years’ experience in a finance or investment operations role, ideally with exposure to trade settlements, fund administration, or dealing. A good understanding of financial instruments such as equities, bonds, or funds would be beneficial.

  • Strong Excel skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Good problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication skills

Experience with fund systems would be an advantage, as would any exposure to European or cross-border investment environments.
