Tax Accountant / Analyst

We are supporting a global insurance organisation on the hire of a new Tax Accountant/Analyst. This role is newly created and the organisation are in the early stages of setting up an Irish entity. You will join a small but growing team and have exposure to all elements of finance.

The candidate:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA) with post-qualified experience in a similar role.
  • A CTA Qualification or experience with broad Tax Accounting, Tax Compliance or Corporate Tax.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS or US GAAP experience.
  • Previous experience in the insurance or financial services sector is advantageous but not essential.
  • Proven ability to work independently in a start-up or scaling environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
