Real Estate Accountant - Dublin City

A multinational Real Estate company in Dublin City centre is looking to hire an ambitious Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career and open to someone who is either newly qual or a few years PQE. However, previous experience within Property or Construction is essential. This can be from industry or clients in practice. Salary circa €60,000 - €75,000 DOE PQE.

Key Responsibilities of the Real Estate Accountant

• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of monthly financial and management reporting packs
• Maintenance of all financial data relating to a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring the integrity of the data.
• Co-ordinate with key stakeholders to ensure that reporting commitments for each of your properties are met
• Oversee the financial management of the portfolio ensuring all key reconciliation are completed appropriately and with supporting documentation.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of annual budgets, review budget variance analysis with Property Managers to identify and address key differences.
• Analyse financial data to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable insights.
• Work closely with Property Managers and Finance to respond to ad hoc queries and promptly resolve issues.
• Build solid relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, including clients and property managers.

Key requirements of the Real Estate Accountant

• Qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA Accountant.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, (written and verbal) with the ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ability to analyse problems, develop and implement solutions to generate immediate results.
• Property Management accounts experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
• Property system knowledge (Yardi,Salesforce) desirable but not essential.
