Financial Accountant - Top Multinational

A leading multinational in Dublin (two days office) is looking to hire a Financial Accountant. Excellent opportunity to join a large finance function where you can progress upwards. Ideally looking for someone Big 4 trained with a few years industry experience.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager

• Support on the Financial Reporting and Compliance for several countries

• Supporting the Finance Manager and Senior Financial Accountants on external audits
• Bank, Prepayments and Fixed Asset Accounting

• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes for given entities including commentary
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
• Ensure that all taxes including payroll, corporate tax and VAT are reported and paid/collected to/from the relevant authorities within prescribed timelines across the relevant entities
• Ensure internal and external financial reporting deadlines are met
• Liaise with internal audit department to ensure timely completion of audits, SOX control testing and implementation of any recommendations

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Qualified Accountant
• Big 4 trained with PQE
• Multi-national, multi co code experience – FMCG preferred
• Financial, tax & statutory accounting experience
• Experience using SAP
• Advanced Excel
