Senior Financial Accountant

A leading global insurance organisation is establishing its operations in Ireland and is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the finance function of a dynamic, fast-paced organisation. The successful candidate will gain end-to-end finance exposure and have significant opportunities for professional growth and development.

The candidate:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA) with post-qualified experience in a similar role.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS or US GAAP experience.
• Previous experience in the insurance or financial services sector is advantageous but not essential.
• Proven ability to work independently in a start-up or scaling environment.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
