A growing multinational with a medium sixed fell in North Dublin have a new opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join their team and work closely with the Finance Director. This role will give you a lot of autonomy so a self-starter wit initiative is needed. Prior experience with having full ownership of an Accounting function is needed.

Key requirements of the Accountant

• Managing all aspects of the accounts Payable & Receivable functions
• Period End journal posting, reconciliation and period/month end close
• Preparing Bank reconciliations.
• Preparation of financial returns due to the Irish Regulator
• Processing Daily and Ad-hoc Payments
• Bank Postings, Allocations & Reconciliations of operational accounts
• Processing Supplier invoices on D365 (PO and non-PO invoices)
• Raising re-charge invoicing for intercompany customers
• Preparation of periodic Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Overview of Purchase Orders & following up with PO approvers to receipt POs
• Provide cover for different functions in the accounts department in relation to holidays, sickness, training & overall assistance
• Providing support on project work where needed
• Assisting the finance director streamlining internal processes and procedures

Key requirements of the Accountant

• Two years Accountancy experience in a similar role
• ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
• Comfortable working with multiple systems
• Preparation of regulatory returns
• Excellent excel
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
