Finance Manager Not for Profit - 2 days office
A well known Irish not for profit is looking to hire a Finance Manager for a 12 month contract. Based in Dublin, this role offers excellent flexibility with the ability to work from home 3 – 4 times per week. This client are looking to hire a Finance Manager ensuring the smooth operation of the Finance Department. Salary range for this role is circa €70,000 - €72,000.
Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager
- Team Management: Lead and develop a team of three direct reports while collaborating closely with the Financial Accountant.
- Financial Processes & Reporting: Ensure robust financial processes and assist with monthly reporting packs and analysis.
- Process Development: Drive finance-led projects focused on enhancing systems and processes for greater efficiency.
- Business Partnering: Build strong relationships across teams to support financial knowledge development and alignment of processes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain a strong financial control environment, support audits, review policies, and ensure compliance with legislation.
Key requirements of the Finance Manager
- Professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
- Demonstrated success in delivering systems or process improvements.
- At least 2 years of team management experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software and CRM systems.
- Strong MS Excel skills.
- Experience managing internal audits.
- Familiarity with Business Central (or Navision), MS Dynamics, Power-BI.
- Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas/automation).
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector.
