Finance Manager West Dublin - 6 month FTC

A leading Irish organisation in City West is looking to hire a Finance Manager for a 5-6 month contract assignment. There will be a future permanent role within the team. What is needed now is a safe pair of hands to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain robust controls, and keep all core finance processes running smoothly while the organisation refines its longer-term finance structure. 3 days in the office and salary circa €75,000 - €85,000.

Key responsibilities of the Finance Manager

• Oversee daily finance operations (AP/AR, payroll, bank recs, month-end).
• Produce accurate management accounts, cashflows, and financial reports.
• Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with audit, tax, and CRO requirements.
• Lead budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Support internal teams and provide clear financial insights.
• Manage and develop the finance team during the transition period.
• Liaise with auditors and assist with year-end preparation.

Key requirements of the Finance Manager

• Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
• Strong experience in financial operations, reporting, and controls.
• Confident leading a small team and improving processes.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
