Credit Control Team Lead

We are delighted to be recruiting a Credit Control Team Leader to join a growing Finance function in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Control / Accounts Receivable professional who enjoys leading teams, driving cash collection, and improving processes in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Credit Control Team Lead Job:

  • Lead and support a team of Credit Controllers, allocating workloads and setting priorities
  • Drive cash collection performance, debtor days reduction, and KPI delivery
  • Monitor and manage aged debt, overdue balances, and credit risk
  • Act as escalation point for complex customer disputes
  • Approve payment plans, settlements, credit limits, and account holds
  • Ensure accurate account reconciliations and strong financial controls
  • Produce and analyse reports including aged debt, cash collection, and bad debt
  • Conduct one‑to‑ones, performance reviews, and team development

Skills & Experience Required for the Credit Control Team Lead Job:

  • Proven experience in Credit Control / Accounts Receivable, ideally with team leadership
  • Strong understanding of cash collection, aged debt, credit risk, and KPIs
  • Experience handling escalations, disputes, and complex accounts
  • Confident with reporting, reconciliations, and ledger analysis
  • Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
