Group Accounts Assistant
Our client is a leading independent creative and advertising group based in Dublin, operating across multiple group entities. The Group Accounts Assistant will support the Finance function across three group companies. Reporting to the Group Executive Finance Director, this is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail, excellent organisation skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable
- Raise and issue sales invoices (client and inter-company, multi-currency)
- Issue monthly debtor statements
- Manage AR cash collections
- Allocate client receipts on the finance/MIS system
- Perform aged debtor reconciliations
Accounts Payable
- Perform aged creditor reconciliations
- Post cost of sales and overhead invoices
- Allocate supplier payments
- Prepare and process bi-monthly payment runs
- Reconcile and post group credit card transactions
- Process staff expenses
Accounts Preparation & Finance Support
- Open, close and manage job accounts
- Perform daily bank reconciliations (EUR, GBP, USD)
- Reconcile inter-company accounts
- Set up suppliers and clients on the finance/MIS system
- Update monthly foreign exchange rates
- Maintain fixed asset registers
- Complete monthly overhead analysis
- Post monthly journals as directed
- Adhere to commercial policies
- Assist with the annual audit
- Support ad-hoc finance requests
Essential Criteria
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar accounts role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player with a collaborative approach
- High level of integrity and professionalism
