Project Manager - Supply Chain
Supply Chain Project Manager – My client, a Global FMCG organisation, is currently embarking on an exciting organisational transformation programme and requires a number of project managers. They specifically require an accomplished project manager to work in partnership with the Supply Chain teams to deliver successful projects as part of the ongoing global business transformation programme. This exciting role will require excellent project management and influencing skills, combined with a broad understanding of Supply Chain activities, including Planning, Customer Service & Logistics.
This role will be based in Dublin but will require a minimum of 30% International travel
Responsibilities:
- Leading and/or coordinate strategic projects with the Supply Chain function.
- Provide project management direction and support.
- Train and coach others ineffective tracking of project progress, costs and deliverables.
- Enable best practice sharing from one transformation project to another one.
- Drive business value creation through successful project delivery.
- Develop, write and manage Supply Chain communication models and materials.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in a Supply Chain, Inventory Planning, Logistics or Customer Service and a proven track record of successfully managing projects within a global company.
- Strong planning and project management skills.
- Ability to lead and coach others.
- Strong business acumen.
- Results orientated.
- Analytical, with attention to detail.
- Excellent ability to work cross functionally within an international organisation.
- Ability to positively challenge.
- Familiarity with Supply Chain Information Systems (ideally SAP / APO).
