Senior IP Licensing Lawyer - In House
A leading technology organisation, with offices globally, now wishes to recruit a commercially-minded licensing lawyer to join their in-house legal team. Headquarted in Dublin, the business has grown significantly over recent years and offers an exceptional opportunity for the successful candidate to join a busy team and work in a challenging and strategically important role.
Reporting to the General Counsel, you will work as part of the legal team and work closely with the sales team on a day-to-day basis. The successful candidate will focus on IP licensing matters and carry out in-depth negotiations with major clients. As this is a new role within the organisation, which has come about directly as a result of business growth, you will play a key role in defining legal frameworks in this area.
Required background:
- Applicants should be professionally qualified lawyers with a successful track record in industry or a leading law firm
- Strong experience in drafting and negotiating complex licensing agreements
- Proven ability to manage a diverse workload, prioritise and multi-task in a dynamic and fast moving environment
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
