Senior Corporate/M&A Lawyer – In House

Our client wishes to recruit a Senior Corporate Lawyer from a leading law firm or in-house, with a strong track record in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance or general corporate practice advising Irish or UK listed companies. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in some or all of the following areas:
• Mergers, acquisitions and re-organisations
• Equity and debt capital structures and balance sheet management
• Shareholders rights and documentation
• Capital raising, rights issues and underwriting
• Corporate governance
• Irish/UK securities law, EU Banking regulation and regulatory capital requirements
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
• Be a solicitor or barrister qualified to practise in Ireland
• Have relevant PQE at a senior level in the Corporate/Commercial Group of a leading law firm or in house
• Have excellent technical knowledge in some or all of the core areas highlighted above
• Have proven track record of providing legal advice either in a leading law firm or in-house on significant transactions

• Ability to quickly understand key business issues and operational objectives
• An effective and confident communicator of complex messages (written and verbal) to both internal and external audiences
• Good interpersonal skills and a positive team member
• Commercially minded, decisive, highly organised and principled
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, deal with conflicting agendas and meet deadlines
• Strong project management and organisational capabilities
• Excellent analytical skills, ability to communicate and advise at the highest levels
