Financial Accountant
Our client is an IFSC arm of a leading global investment and corporate banking group that provides a wide range of capital market products and services to corporate, government and institutional clients worldwide. They are actively seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their Finance team.
Key responsibilities:
-Preparation of financial & management information for Group Finance and internal parties
-Regulatory capital calculation for the Irish Financial Services Regulatory Authority
-Liaising with back office and middle office functions to share information, to assist in
improving processes and controls and to resolve day-to-day finance issues that arise
-Preparation of statutory financial statements
-Liaising with internal and external audit
-Implementation of strategic Head Office initiatives and other ad hoc project work
Key requirements:
-Qualified accountant (or international equivalent)
-Previous experience in Financial Services is preferred
-High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
-Effective workload and time management skills
-Commercial awareness of key business issues
