Our client is leading provider of mutual funds, asset management and life insurance with over €15 billion of assets under management and an established presence across Europe. They are now looking for part-qualified accountant with strong SAP experience to join their Dublin office and get heavily involved in all aspects of their accounting processes.

Key requirements:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and Board reports with commentaries for submission to the Board
• P&L analysis in comparison to the budget and forecasts for the year
• Maintaining the fixed asset schedule
• Supervision of inter-company movements and dealing with subsequent queries and reconciliations
• Updating and documenting procedures
• Overseeing the completion of the controls identified within the Accounting Department
• Liaising with internal and external auditors and tax advisors

Key requirements

• Relevant third-level degree and a part-qualified accountant (or international equivalent)
• Ideally will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a busy accounting environment in financial services
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (incl. pivot tables, lookup formulae, data filters) and ideally also SAP
• Organised individual who can self manage multiple priorities, routine work and urgent issues as they arise
• Excellent verbal, written and numeric skills is integral
