Our client was one of the first firms to provide application of computer technology to share dealing. An innovative company that utilises advanced technology to help brokers and clients find liquidity, reduce transaction costs and increase dealing efficiency in the equity markets; they are now seeking to add a junior equity trader.

Key responsibilities:

• Execution of foreign exchange trades
• Provide assistance to other equity traders during high volume periods
• Develop and deliver automated reports
• Extraction and review of daily trading reports

Key Requirements:

• Relevant degree, preferably in an IT or mathematical discipline
• Strong academic results with a proven mathematical ability
• Some programming exposure would be an advantage
• Good knowledge of Excel, Bloomberg and Reuters
